Therapist, Clinical Trainee
I am a LGSW (Licensed Graduate Social Worker), specializing in working with adults who are navigating Anxiety and/or Depression, or are dealing with questions around identity, relationships, and belonging. This can look like overthinking, burn out, people pleasing, worry, avoidance, withdrawing, feeling empty, struggling to concentrate, relax, or enjoy life.
I draw on a variety of modalities depending on what feels most helpful for you. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which involves updating negative thought patterns and behaviors, as well as being informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which involves mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which involves embracing difficult thoughts and emotions rather than avoiding them, along with other modalities.
I have a particular passion for working with LGBTQ+ individuals and strive to offer an affirming, supportive environment where your experiences are acknowledged and respected. Whether you’re dealing with day-to-day stress, family dynamics, despair at the state of the world, or simply feeling stuck, we can work together to make sense of what’s going on and build tools for meaningful change.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I would be honored to partner with you on your journey. I aim to create a space where you can show up as you are, without pressure to have everything figured out.
