Deana Mikolich, LICSW
I am licensed in Minnesota and have over three years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges and enhance their emotional well-being. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative exposure therapy (NET), schema therapy, exposure therapy, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), internal family systems (IFS), somatic therapy, attachment-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and practices from the Gottman Institute (Level 1). Additionally, I incorporate mindfulness and compassion-based techniques.
I work with clients facing various issues, such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, ADHD, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. With a compassionate, client-centered approach, I empower individuals and couples to build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and achieve personal growth.
I am committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment and tailor treatment plans to meet each client's unique needs. My goal is to help clients attain mental wellness, balance, and more fulfilling relationships.
Psychologist
Jennifer Ostergaard, PsyD, LP
Dr. Ostergaard is an experienced licensed practitioner with specialized training in neuropsychology. She has been a licensed practitioner since 2006 and completed her fellowship training in pediatric neuropsychology through the University of Minnesota Medical School’s Division of Pediatric Clinical Neuroscience. Her research and clinical interests have focused on traumatic brain injury (TBI) assessment and recovery.
Dr. Ostergaard has extensive training and professional experiences in both neuropsychological evaluation and clinical therapy. This combination makes her uniquely skilled to provide comprehensive assessment and targeted therapy services to meet individual needs. Her clinical passion is driven by concussion assessment and management, as well as return-to-school and performance enhancement for student-athletes. Additional interests include treatment for ADHD, oppositional behavior, adjustment, anxiety, depression, and parent coaching utilizing a combination of behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, and play therapy techniques. She believes in a holistic approach to care, examining all aspects of an individual’s functioning, including physical, emotional, social, academic, and spiritual.

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Ruby Brewer, MS, LPCC, LPC, CCATP, C-PD
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wisconsin with over 10 years of clinical experience. My background includes work within the prison system, community mental health settings, and substance use treatment. I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, personality disorders, and significant life stressors. I also have experience working with justice-involved individuals and navigating the complexities of probation and parole requirements.
I strive to create a therapy space that feels grounded, respectful, and safe—where you can be honest without fear of judgment.
My approach is collaborative, direct, and grounded in evidence-based care. I draw from modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and other therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. I focus on helping clients better understand their patterns, build practical coping skills, and move forward with greater clarity, stability, and confidence.
